Our Story
Elegant. Tranquil. Social. A Tea Room.
The name “Tee Room Golf” comes from the idea of a tea room — a place of elegance and tranquility. A place to indulge and socialize.
In certain cultures, a tea room is a place of reverence and humility — and any golfer knows that golf is a humbling sport.
In a Japanese tea room, you enter the space by crawling through a small sliding door called the nijiriguchi. A small entrance forces the guest to bow their head and manifest humility — and for Samurais, to leave their swords outside and shed social status. A tea room is egalitarian. The sport of golf embodies the same philosophies: egalitarianism through an ingenious handicap system, and humility through dedication and practice.
At Tee Room Golf, we won't make our members and guests crawl through a tiny door, but we can guarantee you a premium golfing experience centered around our tea room philosophy.
